International singing star

Pupils and students at HTIS were given a real treat to finish the working week.

Recording star, Brooke, came to the school to promote her latest CD and perform a selection of her songs.

Brooke, who is 16 and from Malta, is currently studying A levels in her 6th Form. She has always had the ambition to be a singing star and has had a number 1 record in Malta and stayed in their charts for 19 weeks.

Her latest single, “Achille’s Heel” is being released later this month and she has now signed with Universal Records.

After attending a summer school in the USA she was spotted by producer, Stephen Russell, and recorded her latest song in Los Angeles with him.

The school gave her an enthusiastic response and even joined her in the chorus of “Achille’s Heel”.

Brooke spoke eloquently about achieving ambitions and setting goals for your future.
