School Choir sings for local charity

The Senior School Choir of Holy Trinity International School was pleased to support Kemp Hospice's Christmas Fund Raising activity at Kidderminster Town Hall on Wednesday 16th December. The choir sang four traditional songs including " From the squalor of the borrowed stable", "I will follow him", "Good King Wenseslas" and "Dalmation Cradle Song" before a finale of "O Come all ye Faithful" and "Hark the Herald" together with other invited choirs and Stourport Brass Band. It was a delightful evening, helping to make a real difference in the local community. We were equally proud of the school choir and to be associated with such a spirited Christmas Concert for an admirable cause.

The choir again sang beautifully at the traditional last-day Carol Service held this year at the local St. George's Church. Accompanied by Foundation Trustee, Tim Morris on the piano and impressive church organ, this was a service to remember and much acclaimed by all fortunate enough to be present. Thanks to St. George's Church for making this an ideal location for our final activity of the year.

Not to be upstaged, our Junior choir traveled to Birmingham on Thursday 17th to take part in the NIA "Young voices" event. They enjoyed their outing, though were exhausted by the late return. We look forward to a repeat performance of their songs in the first whole - school assembly on Friday 8th January. Thanks to all the staff who accompanied the choirs and made all three events so memorable
