Independent Day School and Nursery for Boys and Girls from 0 to 18

The Sixth Form

*************************
Year 12 Entry September 2012 - 75% reduction in school fees in Year 12 with
No fees payable in Year 13

Holy Trinity International School is an independent school with a sixth form offering AS and
A levels. Class sizes are small and so we are able to offer our students a great deal of
individual attention. Nearly all the students gain entry to their first choice university or college, including Oxbridge.

In September 2013 we intend to become a Free School, so that from that date parents of
our sixth-formers will not have to pay fees.

Prior to this, for the academic year 2012-13 we are offering any Year 11 students entering
Year 12 a fee remission of 75%. meaning the total cost of any student in our sixth form from
September 2012 to June 2014 will be in the region of £2,500.00

Already we have a number of students who were educated in maintained schools up to the
age of sixteen, who have adapted well to our school and would not wish to be anywhere else!

For more information and to obtain an application form, please call: 01562 822929

Sixth Form students are encouraged to become more independent and self motivated in preparation for higher education and future careers. Working closely with parents we keep families fully informed on progress and personal achievement.

HTIS is passionate about learning. Nurturing, encouraging and enjoying are the means by which we reach our goals. Looking to develop the individual by offering a flexible choice of subjects, as well as providing detailed and sensitive advice on university entry and future careers.

Local fieldwork and research is undertaken from village settlements, rivers and urban change in Geography, to science and engineering competitions at Birmingham University, with access to university departments at Worcester, Wolverhampton and Birmingham. Students can study literature at the Cheltenham Festival, Shakespeare in Stratford upon Avon and even Bronte in Haworth, North Yorkshire.

Sixth Form facilities includes a bistro and kitchen area, a lounge, conference room with digital projector, a dedicated ICT suite, tutorial room and art studio, together with a private study room.

Student Opportunity

We have an excellent enrichment programme and numerous opportunities to develop leadership skills. Sixth Form students work closely with the Leadership Team and with the Head of Sixth Form, seeking election to the positions of Head Student, Head of School Council and Head of Houses. All students have the opportunity to extend their leadership skills by taking the Sports Leadership qualification.

The HTIS ‘Homestay Programme’ supports visiting international students from between 1 to 3 terms, with HTIS students enjoying the opportunity to visit other schools within the IES and extended SEK network of schools across the world.

Our passion is to support the individual, recognising and respecting each student's needs and aspirations.

Extra Curricular

Orchestra, Choir, Musical /Drama productions, Tech Club, extra Italian, the Duke of Edinburgh and Castle Award (for younger students), as well as World Challenge expeditions.
